The B U Bhandari Car Care Centre at Wakad is a project the Group is justifiably proud of.
With 17,000 sq.ft. of main floor, additional 17,000 sq.ft for parking and 6000sq.ft for sales and service, this mammoth centre is equipped with the latest, computerised machines and gauges required to service and repair Tata Engineering’s new-generation automobiles. Technicians and staff are experienced and specially trained by Tata, ensuring your Tata car is in safe, capable hands.

Add to this, the daily shuttle service to pick up and drop customers and the cyber café for customers waiting for delivery of their cars - and you have a service centre that’s setting new standards in customer satisfaction.

A highlight of this centre is its focus on the environment and on eco-friendly systems. B U Bhandari has invested in a rain harvesting system where thousands of liters of water are saved from wastage. The criminal wastage of water which takes place in the wash room of any service centre is controlled by installation of a special recycling and filteration plant. Through this, about 60% of the water can be reused.

Another aspect of workshop activity which can be hazardous is the paint shop. B U Bhandari takes firm precautions to ensure no hazardous chemicals in paint are allowed to escape into the atmosphere. The paint shop is a closed enclosure with filters that trap all the excess paint & thinner that would otherwise pollute the air.
